What is lust?


Lust is an emotion or feeling of intense desire in the body. The lust can  take any form such as the lust for knowledge, the lust for sex or the lust for power. It can take  such mundane forms as the lust for food as the distinct form as distinct  from the need for food. Lust is a psychological force producing intense wanting for an object, or circumstance fulfilling the emotion. (

 Romans 13:11-13

And do this, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep; for now our salvation is nearer than when  we first believed. The night is far spent is far spent, the day is at hand. Therefore let us cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armor of light. Letus walk properly, as in the day, not in revelry and drunkenness, not in lewdness and lust, not in strife and envy. But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh, to fulfill its lust.

O, you sleeper. AWARE! AWARE! AWAKE! God is being the hearer then he every been; he is being moved through his people that have a willing heart to serve him, to speak the gospel in unusual points and distinctive areas. Many pastors are not being obedient, so God is searching out for more leaders who will take up the cross. Every single day this earth is getting darker and darker, that means you would have to put on the armor of the Lord every minute, every hour, and every day. By allowing God to help you to walk properly. On this day, but not in revelry and drunkenness, not in lewdness and lust, not in strife and envy. In order to flee from lust, you would have to put, generally, an armor of Jesus Christ.

  Colossians 3:23

And whatevery you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord and not men.

When you spend so much time in pleasing other, teachers, child, house, car, wife, husband, workplace, friends and family. God is like, “My child human will fail you, but I will never fail you.” You have  to spend that time with God! Stop running to your pastor all the time, even though he’s your pastor, but he shouldn’t be the first person you ran to. Seek God first, then go to your pastor by coming into the agreement on the issue.

   James 4:1-2

1. Where do wars and fights come from among you? Do they not come from your desires for pleasure that war in your member? 2. You lust and do not have. You murder and cannot obtain. You fight and war. Yet you do not have because you do not ask.



“Desire” a  strong feeling of wanting to have something or wishing for something to happen.

We cannot understand the full potential of God until you seek the Lord for understand. I pray that God will lead you down his path, by knowing God true love and gaining your relationship with Jesus.
