WHAT IS CHILD ABUSE?

Child abuse is when a parent or caregiver, whether through action or failing to act, causes injury, death, emotional harm or risk f serious harm to a child. There are many forms of child maltreatment, including neglect, physical abuse, sexual abuse, exploitation, and emotional abuse.

28.3% of adults reported physically abused as a child.

20.7% of adults report being sexually abused as a child.

10.6% of adults report being emotionally abused as a child.

Ephesians 6:4

And you, father, do not provoke your children to wrath, but being them up in the training and admonition of the Lord.

Her constant nagging provoked Bim: anger, enrage, incense, outrage, infuriate, madden, irritate, vex, agitate, annoy, gall, aggravate, irk, exasperate, rile, try one’s  patience, chafe, great, move to anger, work in a passion, make one’s blood boil, put out of humor, put out;  slang got one’s goat, get under one’s skin, get to one.

extreme anger.

a criticism or warning about behavior.

God tells us not to provoke our children, God tells us not to wrath our children; instead train them up to an admonition of the Lord. Not by correcting them because you know they are doing wrong but show them what God thinks as well on their behavior. In emotional abuse only been reported 10.6%.  If you really paid attention every day out in public, on how parents treat their children out in angry; you will believe 10.6% should be higher than that. Then, if you paid more attention to what’s going on in child-care centers, school, and after-school programs, you will believe 10.6% should be higher…

You are probably saying if 10.6% should be higher, than. Why is it so low? Because, it’s only 10.6% people that are reported emotional child abuse.

I remember throughout my childhood, being physical, mental, and emotional abuse  throughout my whole childhood life; it was so bad that I would take my angriness out with students and teachers. Why? Because, that was the only way that I could release my frustration by fighting with everyone.

For anyone who is dealing with a child that has behavior problems in school or in the home, I advise you, to begin to ask yourself questions.

Examples: what is causing my child to have bad behavior?

How  often do I give my child attention?

Have I ever, ask my child what he or she would like to do for today?

1 JOHN 4:7 AND 4:18

4:7 Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God; and everyone who love is bom of God and knows God. He who does not love does not know God, for God is love.

4:18 There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love
